Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Meatballs

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and form into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

2

Cook the Meatballs

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

3

Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the canned tomato sauce and bring to a simmer. Return meatballs to the skillet and let simmer for 15-20 minutes.

4

Cook the Spaghetti

Meanwhile, in a large pot of salted boiling water, cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

5

Combine and Serve

Once the meatballs are cooked through, serve them over the spaghetti. Garnish with fresh basil and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
