Strawberry Shake

Enjoy a creamy and refreshing regular-sized strawberry shake made with ripe strawberries and smooth vanilla ice cream.

Carefully harvest 1000 grams of ripe Chardonnay grapes, ensuring they are free from rot or damage.

Harvesting the Grapes

Crush the harvested grapes to release their juice. You can do this using a grape crusher or by hand in a sanitized container.

Crushing the Grapes

Transfer the crushed grapes and juice to a fermentation vessel. Add 2 grams of yeast to initiate fermentation. Allow the mixture to ferment at a controlled temperature of 18-22°C (64-72°F) for about 10 days.

Fermentation

After primary fermentation is complete, add 0.5 grams of malolactic bacteria to the wine. This will soften the acidity and add a buttery flavor. Let it sit for an additional 2 weeks.

Malolactic Fermentation

After malolactic fermentation, add 50 grams of French oak chips to the wine. This will impart a subtle oak flavor and aroma. Allow the wine to age for a minimum of 4 weeks.

Aging with Oak

Once aging is complete, filter the wine to remove solids and transfer it into clean, sanitized bottles. Seal the bottles with corks.

Filtering and Bottling

Let the wine rest for at least 2 months in a cool, dark place before serving. Pour into a glass and enjoy the flavors of stone fruit, apple, and a hint of oak.
