Method

Syrup Preparation

1

Make Elderberry Green Tea Simple Syrup

In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of elderberries and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer and let cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2

Add Tea Bags

Remove the saucepan from heat and add the 2 green tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes, then remove the tea bags and strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve to remove the elderberries.

3

Cool the Syrup

Allow the syrup to cool to room temperature before using. You can store any leftover syrup in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Cocktail Preparation

4

Prepare Cocktail Shaker

In a cocktail shaker, add the 2 oz of Snowcrest Vodka, 1 oz of the prepared elderberry green tea simple syrup, 0.5 oz of fresh lemon juice, and 1 large egg white.

5

Dry Shake

Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously without ice for about 15 seconds. This helps to emulsify the egg white for a frothy texture.

6

Shake with Ice

Add ice to the shaker, secure the lid again, and shake vigorously for another 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

7

Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass. Optionally, you can fine strain to achieve a smoother texture.

8

Garnish

Garnish the cocktail with fresh sage leaves placed on top or floating in the drink.
