Rim the glass
Run the lemon wedge around the rim of a tall highball or pint glass to moisten. Dip the rim into a shallow plate with the coarse celery salt to coat evenly. Set the glass aside.
Fill the prepared glass with ice cubes and set aside.
Mixing the Cocktail
Add 4 oz Bloody Mary mix and 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice to the vodka.
Add 0.5 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 3 dashes hot sauce, 0.25 tsp celery salt, and a few grinds of freshly ground black pepper to the shaker.
Fill the shaker or mixing glass with ice, cap, and roll or gently shake 8–10 seconds to chill and lightly dilute the cocktail. Rolling (pouring back and forth between two containers) produces less aeration and a cleaner look; shaking produces a slightly frothier finish.
Strain the mixture into the prepared ice-filled glass.
Garnishing and Finishing
Place the celery stalk in the glass so it stands upright — it serves as a stirrer and garnish.
Skewer the two olives onto a cocktail pick and rest it across the rim or place it into the glass.
Add the crisp bacon strip as a savory garnish by resting it on the rim or inserting it into the drink (if desired, use thick-cut or candied bacon for a different flavor profile).
