Preparation Steps

1

Prepare the Batter

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the Negra Modelo beer until the batter is smooth and slightly thick.

2

Fry the Shrimp

Heat the oil in a deep skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Dip each shrimp into the batter, allowing excess to drip off, and carefully place them in the hot oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

3

Prepare Tacos

Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave. Assemble each taco by placing a layer of shredded cabbage, followed by 2-3 pieces of fried shrimp, a generous spoonful of pico de gallo, and a drizzle of cremayo.

4

Serve

Serve the tacos immediately while they are hot, with extra pico de gallo and cremayo on the side.
