Slice the oranges, lemons, and limes into thin rounds. Core the apple and cut it into bite-sized pieces. If using whole berries, rinse them and leave them whole.

Prepare the Fruits

In a large pitcher or bowl, add the sliced fruits (oranges, lemons, limes, apples, and berries). Pour in the red wine (or white wine) followed by the orange juice, brandy, and simple syrup. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.

Combine Ingredients

Cover the pitcher and place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together.

Chill the Sangria

Before serving, add the club soda to the pitcher and stir gently. Pour the sangria into glasses filled with ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
