Preparation Steps

1. Prepare the Steak

Season the beef steaks with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of oil. Cook the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium rare, or to your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest.

2. Fry the Eggs

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and crack the eggs into the pan. Fry them until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.

3. Cook the Plantains

Peel the ripe plantains and slice them diagonally. In the skillet, add a little oil and fry the plantain slices until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

4. Prepare the French Fries

If using frozen fries, cook according to package instructions until crispy. If making homemade fries, cut potatoes into thin strips, soak in water, then fry in hot oil until golden brown.

5. Assemble the Dish

On a large plate, serve a portion of cooked rice, place the steak on top, add the fried eggs, arrange the fried plantains and french fries on the side. Optionally, garnish with fresh herbs.
