Preparation Instructions

1

Prepare the Halibut

Cut the halibut fillets into small cubes (about 1/2 inch) and place in a glass bowl.

2

Marinate the Fish

Pour the lime juice over the halibut, ensuring all pieces are submerged. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour until the fish is opaque and 'cooked' by the lime juice.

3

Pickle the Red Onions

Thinly slice the red onion and soak in a mixture of lime juice and salt for about 15-20 minutes, or until softened.

4

Combine Ingredients

Once the fish is ready, drain some of the lime juice, then add the pickled onions, diced mango, chopped cilantro, and diced avocado to the fish. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

5

Serve

Gently toss all ingredients together and serve chilled, garnished with additional cilantro if desired.
