Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Asparagus

Trim the tough ends of the asparagus and toss with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Set aside.

2

Cook the Salmon

Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the salmon fillet with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove from heat and keep warm.

3

Cook the Asparagus

In the same skillet or on the grill, add the prepared asparagus and cook for about 4-6 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and slightly charred. Remove from heat.

4

Make the Lemon Beurre Blanc

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the white wine and minced shallots. Reduce by half, then add the heavy cream and reduce again. Slowly whisk in the unsalted butter until melted and smooth. Stir in the lemon juice, salt, and white pepper to taste.

5

Plate the Dish

On a serving plate, arrange the asparagus and place the grilled salmon on top. Drizzle with the lemon beurre blanc sauce before serving.
