Prepare the glass
Rub the rim of a chilled glass with a lime wedge and dip it in salt to coat the rim.
Mix the ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine Monte Alban tequila, triple sec, and fresh lime juice with ice.
Shake
Shake well until the mixture is chilled.
Strain and serve
Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
Garnish
Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
