Method
Steak Preparation
- 1
Grill the Steak
Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Rub the top sirloin steak with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is achieved. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Fried Potatoes Preparation
- 2
Prepare the Potatoes
Peel and dice the potatoes into small cubes. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the diced potatoes, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy.
Sunny Side Up Eggs Preparation
- 3
Cook the Eggs
In a non-stick skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet, being careful not to break the yolks. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until the whites are set but the yolks remain runny. Remove from heat.
Red Wine-Mushroom Demi Preparation
- 4
Make the Demi Sauce
In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped shallots and cook until translucent. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté until browned. Pour in red wine and beef broth, bringing to a simmer. Allow the sauce to reduce for about 15 minutes until thickened. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
