Preparation of Ingredients
- 1
Prepare the Egg Batter
In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them until they are well beaten. Add the milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Whisk the mixture thoroughly until all ingredients are combined and the batter is smooth.
- 2
Prepare the Bread
Take thick slices of your choice of bread (such as brioche or challah) and set them aside for dipping.
Cooking
- 3
Heat the Pan
Place a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and allow it to warm up. You can add a small amount of butter or oil to the pan to prevent sticking.
- 4
Dip the Bread
Take one slice of bread and dip it into the egg batter, ensuring that both sides are well-coated. Allow any excess batter to drip off.
- 5
Cook the French Toast
Place the dipped bread slice onto the heated skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on the other side.

Serving
