Soak the dried wakame in warm water for about 10 minutes until it expands and becomes tender. Drain and set aside.

Mix the Base Ingredients

In a mixing glass, add the old fashioned rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, dry vermouth, Pedro Ximenez sherry, and coca-cola. Stir gently with ice for about 15 seconds to chill and mix the flavors.

Add the soaked wakame, orange bitters, maple syrup, lemon juice, shoyu, and a pinch of cinnamon to the mixing glass. Stir again gently to incorporate the flavors.
