Preparation
Prepare Hibiscus Tea
In a small bowl, steep 1 tsp of dried hibiscus tea in hot water for 10 minutes. Strain and allow it to cool.
Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, pour in 2 oz of bourbon, 1 oz of fresh lemon juice, 0.5 oz of almond syrup, and 0.5 oz of hazelnut syrup.
Shaking
Shake Well
Add ice to the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to chill the mixture and combine the flavors.
Serving
Strain and Serve
Strain the drink into a chilled coupe glass. Carefully add 1 tsp of the cooled hibiscus tea over the top to create a layered effect.
Garnish
Garnish with a sprinkle of dried hibiscus petals for an elegant finish.
