Boil water in a large pot and add salt. Cook the pappardelle pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add wild mushrooms and sauté until tender. Combine the cooked pasta with mushrooms, add Parmesan cheese, and season with black pepper.

Prepare the Short Ribs
Season the short ribs with salt and pepper. In a large pot, sear the ribs until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
Slow Cook
Cover and simmer on low heat for 3 hours until the ribs are tender.
