Strawberry Shake

Enjoy a creamy and refreshing regular-sized strawberry shake made with ripe strawberries and smooth vanilla ice cream.

Wash the Chenin Blanc grapes thoroughly and remove the stems. Crush the grapes gently to release the juice and place them in a fermentation vessel.

Prepare the Grapes

Mix the sugar with the grape juice until dissolved. Sprinkle the yeast over the mixture and stir gently. Cover the fermentation vessel with a clean cloth.

Allow the mixture to ferment in a cool, dark place for about 10-14 days, stirring gently every few days to help with fermentation.

Fermentation

Once fermentation is complete, add the diced golden pineapple and honeysuckle syrup to the mixture. Stir gently to combine.

Using a funnel, pour the mixture into clean, sterilized bottles, leaving some space at the top. Seal the bottles with caps or corks.

Bottling

Let the bottles sit upright for another 4-6 weeks at room temperature to allow for secondary fermentation, which will create the sparkling effect.

Secondary Fermentation

After the secondary fermentation, chill the bottles in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours before serving. Pour into glasses and enjoy!
