Preparation Steps
Prepare the Ingredients
Hulled and slice the fresh strawberries. Peel and grate the fresh ginger.
Blend the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine the mezcal, Licor 43, fresh strawberries, grated ginger, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and ice.
Shake the Cocktail
Shake well until the outside of the shaker is frosty and the mixture is well combined.
Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled margarita glass.
Garnish
Garnish with a lime wheel and a whole strawberry on the rim of the glass.
