Salad Ingredients

Method

Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Make the Croutons

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Toss the cubed sourdough bread with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Spread evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown, stirring halfway through.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Dressing

In a bowl, whisk together lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking until emulsified.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce and half of the grated Parmesan. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss to coat evenly.

  4. 4

    Add Croutons and Parmesan Crisp

Top the salad with the homemade croutons and remaining grated Parmesan. Optionally, you can bake some more Parmesan on a parchment-lined baking sheet until crispy to add a Parmesan crisp on top.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve immediately and enjoy your fresh Caesar salad!
