Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped dill, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- 2
Marinate the Salmon
Place the Shetland Island salmon fillet in a shallow dish or a zip-lock bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring it is evenly coated. Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- 3
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 4
Bake the Salmon
Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- 5
Serve
Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve warm, garnished with additional fresh dill and lemon wedges if desired.
