Chill the Glass
Begin by chilling your serving glass. You can do this by placing it in the freezer for 10 minutes or filling it with ice water and letting it sit for a few minutes.

Once the glass is chilled, remove the ice water or glass from the freezer. Add 3 ice cubes to the glass.

Carefully pour 2 oz of Hennessy XO Cognac over the ice cubes in the glass.
