Buttermilk Cherry Peppers
Method
Buttermilk Cherry Peppers
- 1
Prepare Cherry Peppers
Wash and dry the fresh cherry peppers. Cut the tops off and remove the seeds using a small spoon or knife, being careful not to break the peppers.
- 2
Make the Buttermilk Aioli
In a mixing bowl, combine the buttermilk, mayonnaise, minced garlic cloves, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and green chili powder. Whisk together until smooth and well combined.
- 3
Fill Cherry Peppers
Using a small spoon or piping bag, fill each cherry pepper with the buttermilk aioli mixture until they are generously stuffed.
- 4
Chill
Place the stuffed cherry peppers on a serving plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the aioli to firm up.
- 5
Serve with Cocktail Sauce
Serve the chilled buttermilk cherry peppers alongside the cocktail sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
