Chill glass (optional)
If possible, place a copper mule mug or highball glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes before building the drink to keep it extra cold.
Fill the chilled mule mug or highball glass with cubed ice until nearly full (about 1 cup).
Pour 2 oz Tito's Handmade Vodka over the ice.
Add 0.5 oz freshly squeezed lime juice. Taste and, if you prefer a slightly sweeter mule, add 0.25 oz simple syrup and gently stir to combine.
Top with 6 oz Cock & Bull Ginger Beer. Pour slowly to preserve carbonation and fill to the top of the glass.
Give the drink one gentle stir (about 3 slow rotations) with a bar spoon to integrate the vodka, lime and ginger beer without flattening it.
Garnish & Serve
Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim and, if desired, a fresh mint sprig tucked beside the lime.
Serve immediately with a short straw or stirrer. Recommend drinking while fizzy and cold.
