Pizza
Wings (10 pieces)
To Serve (optional)
Method
Pizza
Preheat and prepare
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven before turning it on so it preheats with the oven. If using a baking sheet, lightly oil it or dust with cornmeal/flour.
Shape the dough
On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll the dough into a 14–16" circle. Transfer to a cornmeal-dusted pizza peel or baking sheet. Create a slightly thicker rim for the crust by pressing the edges.
Season crust
Brush the exposed crust lightly with 1 tablespoon olive oil and sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper evenly over the crust edge.
Sauce and cheese
Spread 1 cup of pizza sauce evenly over the dough using the back of a spoon, leaving about 1/2"–3/4" rim. Sprinkle 2 cups shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce.
Add topping
Distribute 1 cup of your chosen single topping evenly over the cheese. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning on top for extra flavor.
Bake
Slide the pizza onto the preheated stone or place the sheet in the oven. Bake 10–14 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling and slightly browned. Rotate halfway through for even browning if needed.
Finish
Remove the pizza and let rest 2–3 minutes. Garnish with optional grated Parmesan and chopped parsley. Cut into 8 slices and serve hot.
Wings (10 pieces)
Preheat and pat dry
If baking, preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Pat wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture (this helps them crisp).
Season and coat
In a large bowl, toss the 10 wings with 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon paprika and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder (optional). Ensure an even coating.
Cook the wings (oven method)
Arrange wings skin-side up on a wire rack set over a baking sheet spaced apart so air can circulate. Bake in the preheated 425°F oven for 40–45 minutes, flipping once at 20–25 minutes, until skin is crispy and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Alternative cook methods
Air fryer: cook at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, shaking or flipping halfway. Frying: heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry wings 8–10 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Sauce the wings
While wings finish, warm 1/2 cup wing sauce in a small saucepan over low heat. If using buffalo sauce, melt 1 tablespoon butter into the sauce and stir until combined. Transfer cooked wings to a large bowl, pour sauce over them, and toss until evenly coated.
Notes & Timing
Plan to prepare dough and wings concurrently: preheat ovens as indicated (pizza 475°F, wings 425°F). If using a single oven, preheat to 475°F for the pizza and bake wings at 425°F first, then increase temperature for the pizza, or bake pizza first and keep wings warm. Estimated total time below.
