1

Prepare glass

Fill a tall glass (collins or highball) with ice to chill while you mix the cocktail. Reserve a small gap at top for soda and garnish.

2

Mix base

In a cocktail shaker add ice, 2 oz Captain Morgan, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, 0.5 oz agave syrup, and 0.5 oz blue curaçao. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted.

3

Strain and layer

Discard excess ice from the glass if desired and strain the shaken mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice, filling about two-thirds of the glass.

4

Add grenadine

Slowly pour 0.25 oz grenadine down the inside of the glass or over the back of a spoon so it sinks toward the bottom and creates a gradual red-to-blue gradient.

5

Top with soda

Gently top the cocktail with 3 oz chilled Sprite, pouring slowly to preserve the color layering but allowing gentle mixing.

6

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim. Serve with a straw and a small stirrer so the guest can lightly mix if desired.
