Cosmo Base

Method

Cosmo Base

1

Chill glass

Place a coupe or chilled martini glass in the freezer for at least 5 minutes or fill it with ice water while you prepare the cocktail.

2

Combine ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz 360 Sorrento Lemon Vodka, 0.75 oz triple sec, 1 oz fresh cranberry juice and 0.5 oz fresh lime juice.

3

Add ice and shake

Fill the shaker 2/3 full with ice, secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 12–15 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted.

4

Strain

Discard ice or water from the chilled glass. Double-strain the shaken mixture into the chilled coupe or martini glass using a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh strainer to ensure a silky texture.

Sparkle Top & Garnish

5

Top with cava

Gently pour 1.5 oz chilled Segura Viudas Brut Cava down the side of the glass to create a delicate effervescent layer without disturbing the cocktail's surface too much.

6

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a lime wheel or a thin lime twist on the rim and optionally float 2–3 fresh cranberries on top. Serve immediately.

Notes

7

Adjust cranberry and lime to taste — if you prefer a tarter Cosmo, increase lime to 0.75 oz; for a fruitier profile, increase cranberry to 1.25 oz. Always use freshly squeezed lime for best flavor. Keep the cava well chilled to preserve bubbles when topping.
