Method

Fruit & Base

1

Add fruit and base

Place the frozen mixed berries, peeled banana, Greek yogurt, and milk into the blender container. If you want a thicker smoothie, start with 3/4 cup milk and add more as needed.

Sweetener & Boosts

2

Add the honey or maple syrup, ground flaxseed, and vanilla extract to the blender with the fruit and base.

Optional Add-ins

3

If using spinach, add it now (it will blend down and not significantly change flavor). Add ice cubes for a colder, thicker texture and protein powder if you want extra protein.

Blend & Adjust

4

Blend until smooth

Secure the blender lid. Blend on medium-high for 45–90 seconds, stopping to scrape down the sides once if needed, until the mixture is smooth and homogenous. If too thick, add milk 1–2 tablespoons at a time; if too thin, add a few more frozen berries or an ice cube and blend again.

5

Taste and adjust sweetness, adding up to 1 additional teaspoon of honey or maple syrup if desired.

Serve

6

Pour the smoothie into two glasses (about 2 generous servings). Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a few extra berries on top.

7

Serve immediately. Store any leftover in a sealed container in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours; shake or stir before drinking as separation may occur.
