Method

Cocktail

1

Prepare glass (optional)

If you prefer a salted rim, rub a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass and dip the rim into coarse salt to lightly coat. Set the glass aside.

2

Combine ingredients

Add 2 oz Fortaleza Reposado tequila, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, 0.5 oz agave syrup, 0.5 oz orange liqueur and 2 dashes orange bitters into a cocktail shaker.

3

Add ice and shake

Fill the shaker with about 1 cup of ice, secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the shaker is well-chilled and slightly frosted.

4

Strain

Strain the cocktail into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice (one large cube or a few medium cubes) or serve neat in a chilled coupe, per preference.

Garnish

5

Float or place a lime wheel or wedge on the rim or in the glass. Serve immediately.
