Cocktail

Method

Cocktail

1

Chill glass

Place a coupe or martini glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill it with ice water while you prepare the cocktail to chill.

2

Juice and measure

Juice a fresh lime and measure 0.75 oz (about half a lime). Measure Seedlip Grove 42, cranberry juice, orange liqueur alternative, and agave syrup into a cocktail shaker.

3

Add plenty of ice to the shaker until it's about three-quarters full. This ensures proper dilution and chilling.

4

Shake vigorously for 12–18 seconds until the shaker feels very cold and you see fine frost on the outside. This provides good dilution and texture similar to a classic Cosmopolitan.

5

Dump the ice or water from the chilled glass. Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled coupe or martini glass using both the shaker's strainer and a fine mesh strainer to remove ice shards and any pulp for a silky, clear finish.

Garnish & Finish

6

Express the lime oils over the drink by holding a lime twist over the glass and giving it a quick squeeze to release the oils, then rub the peel along the rim and drop it into the drink (or rest the lime wheel on the rim).

7

Optional: Skewer 2–3 fresh cranberries and rest on the rim or float them on the surface for a festive presentation.

8

Serve immediately while cold.
