Base & Fruit

Method

Base & Fruit

1

Prepare fruit

Peel the banana and break into chunks. If using fresh mango, peel and dice to measure 1 cup. If using frozen mango, roughly chop if pieces are large.

2

Add to blender

Place the banana chunks and 1 cup diced mango into a high-speed blender.

Protein & Grains

3

Add protein and oats

Add 1 scoop (approx. 20 g protein per scoop) of plant protein powder and 1 cup rolled oats to the blender with the fruit. If you prefer a smoother lassi, use quick oats or pulse the rolled oats first.

Liquid & Sweetener

4

Add liquids and sweetener

Pour in 1 cup unsweetened almond (or plant) milk and 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup. Add 1 teaspoon lime juice and a pinch of salt to brighten flavors.

5

Blend

Secure the blender lid and blend on high for 45–90 seconds, or until the mixture is very smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides once and blend again if needed. If the lassi is too thick, add 1–2 tablespoons more plant milk and blend to reach desired consistency.

Flavor & Garnish

6

Finish

Taste and adjust: add more sweetener if desired, a little more lime for brightness, or an extra pinch of cinnamon. If adding chia seeds, stir in 1 teaspoon and let sit 3–5 minutes to slightly thicken.

7

Serve

Pour the breakfast lassi into a tall glass. Sprinkle a small pinch of ground cinnamon on top and garnish with the optional extra diced mango or banana. Serve immediately.
