Method
Prepare Bowl & Tools
- 1
- 2
Gather scoop, small spoon for sauces, and any toppings so assembly is quick and tidy.
Scoop Ice Cream
- 3
Remove the ice cream tubs from the freezer. If ice cream is rock-hard, let them sit at room temperature for 2–4 minutes to soften slightly for easier scooping.
- 4
Using the ice cream scoop, place 3 scoops of vanilla, 2 scoops of chocolate, and 1 scoop of strawberry into the chilled bowl. Arrange the scoops so they nestle together and create visual contrast.
Add Sauces & Spread Flavors
- 5
Warm the hot fudge or chocolate sauce slightly if it's thick (10–15 seconds in microwave in a microwave-safe container) and drizzle about 2 tablespoons evenly over the scoops.
- 6
Add 1 tablespoon of strawberry compote over the strawberry scoop and 1 tablespoon of caramel sauce in a thin stream over one side of the bowl for flavor variety.
Add Toppings & Crunch
- 7
Add 3 tablespoons of whipped cream in a dollop or two on top of the scoops.
- 8
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon chopped nuts evenly over the bowl, then scatter 2 tablespoons crumbled cookies for crunch and texture.
- 9
Lightly dust 1 teaspoon rainbow sprinkles across the whipped cream and exposed ice cream for color.
- 10
If using, lay 1/2 sliced banana along one side of the bowl and sprinkle 1 teaspoon toasted coconut flakes over the banana and whipped cream.
- 11
Place a single maraschino cherry on top of the whipped cream as a finishing touch.
