Method
Base Punch
Combine juices
In a large pitcher or punch bowl (about 3-4 quart capacity), pour in 4 cups cranberry juice, 2 cups pineapple juice and 2 cups freshly squeezed orange juice. Stir gently to combine.
Sweeten and brighten
Add 1 tablespoon granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice to the juice mixture. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely. Taste and adjust: add up to 1 additional tablespoon sugar if you prefer sweeter punch, or more lime for extra brightness.
Optional alcohol
If making an adult version, stir in 3 tablespoons orange liqueur (such as Cointreau or triple sec). Mix gently.
Carbonation & Chill
Just before serving, add 3 cups chilled ginger ale and 2 cups chilled club soda (or sparkling water) to the juice mixture. Stir very gently to preserve carbonation.
Garnish & Serve
Add 8 cups of ice to a large bowl or distribute into individual glasses. If you prefer not to dilute the punch, place a decorative block of ice in the punch bowl instead of loose ice.
Float 1 cup orange slices and 1/2 cup fresh cranberries on top of the punch. Add 8 fresh mint sprigs for aroma and presentation.
Ladle the punch into glasses, making sure each serving gets some fruit and a mint sprig. Serve immediately.
Leftovers: keep refrigerated in a sealed container without the ginger ale/club soda. Add chilled carbonation just before serving again (within 24–36 hours).
