Method

Preparation

1

Cutting the Fabric

Begin by measuring and cutting the organic cotton fabric into a rectangle. The recommended size for a tea towel is 18x28 inches. Use fabric scissors for a clean cut.

2

Preparing the Edges

After cutting, fold the edges of the fabric about 1/4 inch inward and pin them in place to prevent fraying.

Sewing

3

Sewing the Edges

Using the sewing machine, sew along the folded edges to secure them. Make sure to use a straight stitch for a neat finish. Repeat this for all four edges of the fabric.

4

Final Touches

Once all edges are sewn, remove any pins and give the tea towel a good press with an iron to ensure it is flat and tidy.
