Method
Preparation of Salmon
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare Salmon
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season with salt and black pepper.
Coat with Maple Syrup
Brush the tops of the salmon fillets with maple syrup.
Crust the Salmon
Press the almond meal onto the tops of the salmon fillets to create a crust.
Bake the Salmon
Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Preparation of Sweet Bourbon Butter
Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.
Add Ingredients
Stir in the bourbon, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the mixture is well combined and slightly thickened.
Serve
Drizzle the Sweet Bourbon Butter over the cooked salmon before serving.
