Certificate Details
Set face value and naming
Assign the certificate face value to BDT 2,000. Set the certificate name to "Dining Certificate" and the issuing restaurant to "GRILL ON THE SKYLINE (Rooftop Restaurant)".
Generate unique code
Create a unique certificate code (alphanumeric, e.g., GOTS-2026-0001) for tracking and redemption. Record the code in the redemption tracking system.
Set dates
Enter the issue date (date of creation) and an expiry date. Typical expiry is 6–12 months from issue — choose and record the expiry clearly on the certificate.
Write terms & conditions
Compose concise T&C covering: valid only at GRILL ON THE SKYLINE rooftop location; non-transferable (or transferable, as decided); cannot be exchanged for cash beyond balance rules; how to redeem (present printed or digital certificate and unique code); tipping policy; whether reservations are required; expiry enforcement; and contact for inquiries. Collect brand assets
Gather the restaurant logo (high-resolution PNG or vector), brand color palette, and any rooftop/skyline photography to use as background. Ensure images are licensed or owned.
Choose template and typography
Select a certificate template (landscape or portrait) and choose fonts that match the restaurant's brand. Ensure legibility for both digital and print. Place the certificate name, face value (BDT 2,000), restaurant name, unique code, issue and expiry dates, and T&C areas.
Design layout
Position the logo prominently, use the skyline image as a tasteful background (low opacity or masked), and highlight the BDT 2,000 value. Include a visible space for the unique code and a scannable QR code (optional) linking to verification or booking. Reserve a small area for hologram/sticker if using physical authentication.
Create print-ready file
Export the final design as a high-resolution, printer-ready PDF (CMYK if printing) and a web-optimized PNG or PDF for digital delivery (RGB). Embed fonts and include bleed marks if printing on special paper stock.
Optional security features
If desired, add a hologram sticker, embossed seal, or printed microtext to deter fraud. Record hologram/sticker IDs in the tracking system if used.
Distribution & Fulfillment
Prepare delivery
Decide on digital (email) or physical delivery. For digital: attach the web-optimized certificate file or a secure single-use PDF link to an email with redemption instructions and the unique code. For physical: print on chosen paper stock, affix hologram/sticker if used, and place in an envelope addressed to the recipient.
Record issuance
Create a redemption tracking entry for the certificate code including recipient name, contact details, issue date, expiry date, delivery method, and any notes (e.g., printed or digital).
Send certificate
Email the certificate to the recipient with clear subject (e.g., "Your BDT 2,000 Dining Certificate for GRILL ON THE SKYLINE") and instructions for redemption. If mailing, send with recommended postage and include a packing slip with the unique code and T&C.
Follow-up and support
Provide a contact phone/email for inquiries and allow the recipient to confirm receipt. Monitor redemption tracking and mark the certificate as redeemed (partially or fully) when used at the restaurant, updating the record with date, redeemed amount, and server name or bill number.
