Dough & Assembly

Method

Dough & Assembly

1

preheat

Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating. If using a baking sheet, lightly oil it and set it aside.

2

shape dough

On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll the prepared pizza dough into a 12–13 inch round (about 1/4-inch thick). Transfer the shaped dough to a piece of parchment paper or the prepared baking sheet.

3

Brush the surface of the dough lightly with 1 to 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, leaving a small rim for the crust.

Cheese & Sauce

4

Evenly distribute the shredded mozzarella over the oiled dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border for the crust.

5

Scatter the thin tomato slices evenly on top of the cheese. Lightly season the tomatoes with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper so they release a bit of flavor while baking.

Proteins

6

If your chicken is not cooked: preheat a skillet over medium heat with 1 teaspoon olive oil, season a 8 oz chicken breast with 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper, cook 5–7 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let rest 5 minutes, then shred with two forks. Otherwise, use already cooked shredded chicken.

7

Evenly distribute the shredded chicken across the pizza on top of the cheese and tomatoes.

8

Scatter the chopped crisp bacon evenly over the pizza.

Vegetables & Pickles

9

Distribute the thinly sliced green bell pepper and red onion evenly over the proteins and cheese.

10

Spoon the drained house-pickled jalapeños in small clusters across the pizza so there are spicy hits in different spots.

Bake

11

Slide the pizza (on the parchment, if used) onto the preheated pizza stone or place the baking sheet in the oven. Bake at 500°F (260°C) for 8–12 minutes, rotating once halfway, until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly and beginning to brown in spots.

12

If you like a crisper crust, broil on high for 30–60 seconds at the end—watch carefully to avoid burning.

Finish & Garnish

13

Remove the pizza from the oven and let rest 2 minutes. Scatter the remaining fresh tomato slices (if you prefer a fresher tomato finish) on top now for a bright contrast, or omit if you used all tomatoes before baking.

14

Drizzle the ranch dressing evenly over the hot pizza (about 2–3 tablespoons). Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper across the pizza lightly to taste.

15

Garnish with optional chopped parsley or chives if using. Let the pizza rest 1–2 minutes more, then slice and serve immediately.
