Cucumber + Sal Margarita

Method

Cucumber + Sal Margarita

1

Prepare Cucumber Infusion

Slice the cucumber into thin rounds. Place the cucumber slices in a large jar or container and pour in the silver tequila. Seal the jar and let it infuse in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight for a stronger flavor.

2

Make Cilantro Syrup

In a saucepan, combine equal parts of sugar and water. Add a handful of fresh cilantro leaves. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Allow to simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat and let it cool. Strain to remove cilantro and store the syrup in a bottle.

3

Prepare the Glasses

On a small plate, add the black sea salt. Rub the rim of each glass with a lime wedge and dip the rim into the salt to coat it evenly.

4

Mix the Margarita

In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 cup of the cucumber-infused tequila, 1 cup of cilantro syrup, 1 cup of fresh lime juice, and 2 cups of ice cubes. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.

5

Serve

Strain the mixture into the prepared glasses and garnish with lime wedges and fresh cilantro leaves. Serve immediately and enjoy!
