Milk Shakes - Base

1

Chill glassware (optional)

Place the tall glasses in the freezer for 5–10 minutes before serving to keep shakes cold longer.

2

Scoop 2 cups premium vanilla ice cream into the blender.

3

Add 1 cup whole milk to the blender. For a thicker shake use 3/4 cup; for thinner use up to 1 1/4 cups.

4

Add 1 teaspoon granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract to enhance sweetness and flavor.

5

If you prefer an extra-thick texture, add 3 ice cubes. Note: ice will dilute flavor slightly as it melts.

6

Blend

Secure blender lid and pulse 3–4 times, then blend on medium-high for 20–30 seconds until smooth and creamy. Scrape down sides once if needed and blend another 5–10 seconds to fully incorporate.

7

Check consistency. If too thick, add 1–2 tablespoons milk and blend 5 seconds. If too thin, add 1/4 cup ice cream and blend briefly.

Toppings & Assembly

8

If using chocolate syrup, drizzle 1 tablespoon inside each chilled glass, creating streaks on the sides.

9

Pour the blended milk shake evenly into the 2 chilled glasses.

10

Top each shake with about 1/2 cup whipped cream, piping or spooning to create a generous cloud.

11

Drizzle 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup over the whipped cream (optional).

12

Finish with a maraschino cherry and a sprinkle of sprinkles if desired.

13

Serve immediately with long spoons or straws.

Cleanup

14

Rinse blender immediately with warm water, then wash with soapy water to remove remaining ice cream residue.
