1. Prepare bread

Slice the ciabatta roll horizontally. Lightly spread the softened butter on the cut interior of both halves to promote browning.

2. Toast

Place the cut sides down on a preheated skillet (medium heat) or under a broiler for 1–2 minutes until golden and slightly crisp. Remove and set aside.

3. Whisk the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard in a small bowl until smooth. Spread the mayo-mustard mixture evenly on the bottom half of the toasted roll and a thin layer of mayo on the top half.

Quick Pan Sauce (hot oil lift)

4. Infuse oil

Add the minced garlic and cook for 15–20 seconds until fragrant (do not brown). Stir in Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce if using, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
