Chill the glassware: place a tall glass in the refrigerator or freezer for 5–10 minutes to get it pleasantly cold.
Add ice: fill the chilled glass about three‑quarters full with ice cubes (approximately 1 cup).
Pour cola: slowly pour 4 cups of chilled cola into the glass over the ice to minimize foaming. If serving multiple portions, portion about 8 ounces (1 cup) per serving.
