Method

Cocktail

1

Shake base

Add Hendricks Gin (1.5 oz), fresh lemon juice (0.75 oz) and simple syrup (0.5 oz) to a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup).

2

Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is cold and slightly frosted.

3

Double-strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or flute glass to remove small ice shards and any pulp.

4

Top gently with chilled Ruffino Prosecco (3 oz). Pour slowly down the side of the glass to preserve bubbles and avoid foaming over.

Garnish

5

Express the oils of a lemon twist over the surface of the cocktail by holding the twist skin-side down and giving it a quick twist, then drop it into the glass or hang on the rim.

6

Serve immediately. Optionally, give a gentle stir with a bar spoon once after adding the Prosecco to integrate without losing effervescence.
