Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Coffee
Brew 240 ml of strong espresso coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature.

Make the Cream Mixture
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and granulated sugar until the mixture is pale and thick. Add the mascarpone cheese and whisk until smooth.
- 3
Whip the Cream
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined.
Assembly

In a suitable serving dish, arrange a layer of the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom. Spread half of the mascarpone cream mixture over the ladyfingers.
- 6
Repeat Layers
Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone cream mixture on top.
- 7
Chill
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight preferably.
