Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Rub the ribeye steaks with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and fresh rosemary. Ensure they are well-coated on both sides.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (around 450°F to 500°F).

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Place the steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time based on your preferred level of doneness.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.

French Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into thin strips (about 1/4 inch thick).

  2. 6

    Soak the Potatoes

Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  3. 7

    Heat the Oil

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F.

  4. 8

    Fry the Potatoes

Drain and pat dry the soaked potatoes. Carefully add them to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 5-6 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.

  5. 9

    Drain and Season

Remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. Immediately sprinkle with salt while they are still hot.
