Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Egg Mixture

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until well combined and frothy.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Toppings

In a small saucepan over low heat, warm the maple syrup until it is just heated through, but not boiling. Rinse and pat dry the mixed berries.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Dip Brioche in Egg Mixture

Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Dip each slice of brioche bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for about 10-15 seconds on each side, ensuring it's well coated, but not soggy.

  2. 4

    Cook the French Toast

Place the soaked brioche slices onto the preheated skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and slightly crispy.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate and Serve

Serve the French toast warm, topped with the mixed berries and drizzled with warm maple syrup. Enjoy immediately!
