Chill the Glass
Start by chilling your cocktail glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and setting it aside while you prepare the cocktail.

Add Spirits
Pour in the St. George Valley gin and dry vermouth into the shaker with the muddled basil.

Fill the shaker with ice cubes to the top, ensuring the liquid is well chilled when shaken.

Shake the Cocktail
Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the mixture is well combined and chilled.

Strain into Glass
Discard the ice water from the chilled cocktail glass. Using a fine mesh strainer, pour the cocktail mixture into the glass, straining out the basil leaves.
