Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Seafood

Clean and prepare all seafood by rinsing under cold water. Ensure shrimp are peeled and deveined, and crab legs are cleaned and cracked.

2

Chop Vegetables

Dice onion, red bell pepper, and celery. Mince garlic and chop fresh parsley.

Cooking

3

Sauté Aromatics

In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onions, red bell pepper, and celery. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.

4

Add Garlic and Spices

Stir in minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

5

Incorporate Liquid Ingredients

Add canned diced tomatoes (with juice), fish stock or clam juice, dry white wine, and bay leaves. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

6

Cook the Seafood

Once the mixture is simmering, carefully add the prepared seafood (shrimp, mussels, clams, fish, and crab legs). Cover and cook for 10 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through and the mussels and clams have opened.

7

Season and Serve

Remove bay leaves, season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir in chopped parsley. Serve hot with crusty bread.
