Preparation
1. Prepare the Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich
Spread 2 tablespoons of peanut butter on one slice of bread and 2 tablespoons of jelly or jam on another slice. Press the slices together to form a sandwich. Repeat this for the remaining slices of bread.
2. Make the Egg Mixture
In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract until well combined.

3. Dip the Sandwiches
Carefully dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, allowing them to soak for a few seconds on each side until fully coated.
4. Fry the Sandwiches
In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Once melted, add 2 sandwiches to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining sandwiches, adding more butter as needed.
Serving
5. Serve the French Toast
Cut each sandwich in half and serve warm. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar and top with fresh berries and maple syrup to taste.
