Preparing the Churro Dough

Step 1: Combine Ingredients

In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Once boiling, remove from heat and stir in flour until the mixture forms a ball.

Step 3: Incorporate Eggs

Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then beat in the eggs one at a time until well combined and smooth.

Frying the Churros

Step 4: Heat Oil

In a deep pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Step 5: Pipe Churros

Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe 4-6 inch strips into the hot oil.

Fry the churros until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

In a bowl, mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
