Prepare the Tomato Mixture
In a medium bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, minced garlic, fresh basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Toast the Baguette
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices and arrange them on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
Assemble the Bruschetta
Once the baguette slices are toasted, remove them from the oven. Spoon the marinated tomato mixture onto each slice generously. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
Serve
