Measure 1 oz gin and 1 oz dry vermouth. A 50-50 Martini is equal parts gin and dry vermouth.
- 3

Fill a mixing glass or cocktail shaker about two-thirds full with ice (approximately 1 cup).
- 4
stir
Pour the gin and dry vermouth over the ice. Stir gently with a bar spoon for 20β30 seconds (about 20β30 strokes) until well chilled and slightly diluted. Stirring, not shaking, keeps the drink clear and silky.
