Citrus-Mint Cooler

Berry-Hibiscus Iced Tea (caffeine-free)

Method

Citrus-Mint Cooler

  1. 1

    Muddle Mint

Place fresh mint leaves in a tall glass or cocktail shaker. Add simple syrup and gently muddle (press and twist) 8–10 times to release the oils without shredding the leaves.

  2. 2

    Combine Citrus

Add the fresh orange juice, lemon juice, and lime juice to the muddled mint. Fill the glass or shaker with crushed ice, and stir or shake briefly (5–7 seconds) until chilled.

  3. 3

    Top and Garnish

Pour sparkling water over the citrus-mint mixture and stir gently to combine. Add a couple more ice pieces if needed. Garnish with orange slices and a sprig of mint. Serve immediately.

Ginger-Lime Fizz

  1. 4

    Build the Drink

Fill a highball glass with ice cubes. Pour in fresh lime juice and ginger syrup (or a splash of ginger beer for more ginger flavor).

  2. 5

    Top with Soda

Top with cold club soda and stir gently to combine. Taste and add an extra 1 tsp ginger syrup if you prefer it sweeter or spicier.

  3. 6

    Garnish

Add thinly sliced fresh ginger to the drink if using and garnish with a lime wheel. Serve cold.

Berry-Hibiscus Iced Tea (caffeine-free)

  1. 7

    Steep Hibiscus

Place dried hibiscus flowers in a heatproof pitcher or bowl. Pour 2 cups of just-boiled water over the flowers and cover. Steep for 8 minutes for a tart, vibrant brew (steep longer for stronger flavor).

  2. 8

    Strain and Sweeten

Strain the hibiscus infusion into a pitcher to remove flowers. While still warm, stir in honey or agave syrup until dissolved.

  3. 9

    Blend Berries and Chill

In a blender, combine the mixed frozen berries with 1/2 cup of the hibiscus tea and pulse until coarsely pureed. Add the berry puree and the remaining cold water to the pitcher with the hibiscus tea, stir to combine, and refrigerate until chilled (about 30 minutes).

  4. 10

    Serve

Fill glasses with ice, pour the chilled berry-hibiscus tea over ice, and garnish with fresh mint sprigs if desired.

Cucumber-Coconut Refresher

  1. 11

    Muddle Cucumber

Place cucumber slices in a shaker or tall glass and muddle lightly to release juice and aroma (about 6–8 gentle presses).

  2. 12

    Mix Liquids

Add coconut water, fresh lime juice, and agave or simple syrup to the muddled cucumber. Add crushed ice and shake or stir until well chilled (5–7 seconds if shaking).

  3. 13

    Finish and Garnish

Strain into a glass filled with crushed ice. Top with sparkling water, stir gently, and garnish with a cucumber ribbon. Serve immediately.
